3 New Schematics for the Classic Player Jag Special HH

Last month, I bought one of the new Fender Classic Player Jaguar Special HH guitars. It was so new, that the Fender site didn't have any schematics, diagrams, or details specs.
I wrote to Fender last week asking for any info they might have, and they sent me a PDF file of what appears to be some shop diagrams. I'm posting some screen dumps from that file.
Here's the switching diagram. This is one area where there Classic Player Jag HH totally breaks with tradition. I'll post a wiring schematic and a parts diagram screen dump separately below. (All of these images are scrunched; click on them to see the full-size image.)
Enjoy!

I love the idea of the blending pots, I need to try one of these out at some point.

I was interested in blending pots but ,for whatever reason, they never worked out for me. Absolutely no taper to it. It would ground at a particular point of resistance. Your mission is clear.
Also-thanks for uploading this, AB. This should be saved to the wiki database!

That's weird. Hmm.
They might have chosen the wrong pot value or taper. or both.

Yeah I like the idea of the blend pots too. First time I saw it was on Stingray style basses to go from a humbucker to single.
That Martin Sims bass that is in Guitarist is mental and does something similar though with switches I think?

The blend pots on my HH are very sensitive to touch: if I tap them lightly (especially the bridge pot), they're noisy. It's really easy to spike the volume just by tapping the pots. The neck blend pot seems to have a greater taper versus the bridge pot.
My biggest gripe is that the volume & tone pots have to be at 100% for the pickups to come alive. I just keep them at "10" all the time -- if I move them off the maximum setting, the pickups become bland and uninteresting. This seems like a candidate for some kind of mod.

I have a blend pot for the rob(og) custom. I've not used it to try the taper but I'll obviously post about it when I do. I'm not decided if I'll suse it with humbuckers or singles yet.
I originally got it for the BobAC Musicmaster.

Interesting. I'd like to hear some theories on why this might be. SS.org OG's chime in, please.

True stuff. It was amazing how the debut of the MIM Jag/Jazzo series months ago instantly was engulfed in an online rigmarole of aesthetic opinions and country-of-origin debates. I'm glad to get the 411(or 114, in this country) on the cool multi functions the thing has. Nice work, Armchair.

So then maybe a more standard 500k pot for the humbuckers as opposed to the usual 1meg/50k Jaguar pots? (Which I'm surprised they used with the new HH wiring, btw).

If anyone wants the PDF file, let me know via a PM, and I'll send it off. It's only 350K or so. I've posted all 3 pages from the PDF file above, so you're not missing anything except the ability to zoom in on the schematics. (It's too bad they don't have a color version of the wiring schematic.)
Or if there's a way to upload directly to this site, I can do that, too.

Yeah, the blending works really well on the one I picked up. It's definitely cool to get some dirty garage rock sounds in the middle. I haven't run it too much all the way down, but you can shape a lot with them.
