These may have been talked about before, but nothing turned up in a search. Has anyone seen these? I think they're beautiful and really cheap. I'm seriously considering ordering one this week. Can't decide between the yellow and the surf green. I'm not crazy about the headstock but I have a spare strat neck that may fit.

I am in the same boat. I keep waiting for someone else to take the plunge. I could pick up the singel coil version and one of the dream 180 style ones for less than a mexi tele.... I don't like the headstock but everything else seems cool and GFS pups have always been good to me.

I used to want a yellow thinline bad. These things look like the necks are nicely finished at least, probably a little "too thick" of a gloss but I can live with that over a squeer neck any day.

i don't know how they sound but i think all these xaviere guitars look hideous... this model may be the least offensive looking but still...

The headstock is the only thing that bothers me.

Same here...I feel like a loaded thinline body is definitely worth $170.

They had one at the MGR around here. The poly is, like, half an inch thick. I'm normally pretty luke warm on gloss, but this was actually uncomfortably glossy.

In short: It felt cheap.
