Well... man really, he's 22. I've posted about him b4, but he never ceases to amaze me! He's jamming tonight in his bedroom and I couldnt help but snap a few pics. I live vicariously through him, I wish I had a tenth of the talent. I started him on bass when he was 12, and he picked up guitar and flew right by me in no time.



Here he is with his precious #1... a CAR Vista Jagmaster that I bought for him (for $150!) about six years ago. He loves that guitar and said he will "never sell it"....

I had that exact vista model and they are awesome, its even better to know some aspiring guy wont part with his. It gives me goosebumps on my arms, well done fullerplast.

I have one of them Vistas in sunburst. I would never, ever part with mine either.

Those are some sobering words, Dots. I'm totally making assumptions here but I bet that's one lucky kid we're looking at here, having been raised by a quality individual such as yourself, Fullerplast.

Forgive me but... what relation is he to you Fullerplast? Do you educate guys on to the righteous path of Fenders finest for a living or is he some Gibson refugee you saved after a drunken conversation in a bar?

That Jagmaster looks HAWT. I'm not normally a fan of candy apple red, but it really works on that guitar, especially with the black guard. The white witch hats are a nice touch!

5 years of community college, eh? That's not so bad. I did three years at a junior college, then seven years in university to get my bachelor of fine arts degree. Then a few years later, I went back for four more years of school to become a nurse. That's 13 years of post-secondary education... and I'll probably go back to school again next year to get a bachelor of science in nursing. Kind of sad, now that I think about it...

Awww! Ur such an awesome dad!! I love my daddy, it's his 57th birthday today. He bought me a drum set for my high school graduation without hesitating to think that I'd be banging on drums at midnight.

Gareth Sell Crazy's first electric was the same model. Very cool guitar.

Awesome, my dad was the driving force for my college career. get that kid to post! We're peers!

That's awesome fullerplast!!! My kids are slow to show interest, but there are always guitars laying around, so they can pick it up when they feel like it. I'm not forcing them.

My Dad always told me "SHUT THE FUCK UP, I'M WATCHING WALKER TEXAS RANGER!" when I played my guitar as a kid.

Just kidding. He did tell me to keep it down a time or two, but my Dad was pretty supportive. If he hadn't bought a $20 garage sale acoustic before I was born, I may have never picked up the guitar.

Good job on the fine parenting, Doug. I'm sure your son's a fine boy. 5 years of Comm. College? Better than my 8 years in a grocery store, 4 years of that also playing music in smoky bars. Good on you, my friend.
