some sorta jap thing from the 60's by the looks of it, hell it might even be one of those almost cool harmony's or silvertones.

my dads co-worker has one of those from her dad from the 60's and we almost considered getting it...'til i saw and held it in person.

the neck is SUPER thick and and it doesn't have a very good feel to it.

my friend has 1 or 2 zim-gar guitars, kind of shitty, but cool looking.

on second thought it almost looks too 'new' and clean to be an older guitar, maybe the guy had it made for him based on the real stuff

Ok, this is going to sound CRAZY, but the guitar is actually what it says in the title. The name of the brand is "ZIM GAR".

I first stumbled upon them when a pickguard for one came up in an ebay search for a different weird 60s guitar I had. I saw the style and switches and had to google it.

Unfortunately there's not much out there on them, I found this picture of another one on google though.
