Does anyone have any ideas?
There are scorch marks all over the birds eye maple fretboard on the Cort guitar, i was shredding out some malmsteen licks last night and i should have stopped when i saw smoke but i did'nt.

I thought scalloping was from the wank lead guitar player rubbing his dick between the frets all the time? Now I am confused.

Lolz. Apparently, scalloping a neck is not new to stringed instruments. It was around in medieval times but unfortunately, as usual, it is frowned upon because of its association with a handfull of metal guitarists.
