It looks a little better top down but I'd still take a mustang bridge over it.

I want to at least try it. Granted, my mustang bridge gives me no trouble but how can I argue with Wilco?

I can think of a few hundred reasons to argue with Wilco. They all post at Offset.

It looks hideous. The stock bridge can be fixed for pennies and a Mustang bridge can be bought for $30. All in all this is fucking RIDICULOUS.

at first i was thinking it was a cool design, but on closer inspection the only advantage it seems to have over a stock bridge is deeper grooves for the strings. that can easily be fixed with either some careful filing or a mustang bridge.
in fact, i use the stock bridge on my jaguar and have zero problems with it. i never even knock the strings off.

Damn right. The guy is dreaming, $159 R-O-F-L!! Like Mike pointed out, the stock bridge can be sorted within hours for little money and alternatively there are Mustang compensated saddles now available.
In all the years i have posted on these forums the bridge has been a long standing issue on these guitars. Myself and Hurb made tutorial videos to solve the problems at almost zero cost, and yet some guy alternatively tries to cash in with a design that is not necessary. It truly is disappointing.

$159 is bullshit...only people that have that kind of cash to burn on something like this already own a "period correct" guitar and wouldn't dare change for the sake of losing mojo points.

The site makes no mention that I can find, but it looks like the saddles have magnets incorperated
into them? From a design stand point, I can't understand why they would try to make the perfect bridge but it not be able to use a bridge cover or mute(not that it matters that much, but still). I don't like how the bridge posts are movable. They should just make one for Fenders & one for Gibsons.

They should be selling a kit to mod a regular bridge for twenty bucks. Then they might have something.

The price isn't very agreeable, but worse than that is the aesthetics. If it was $159 for a superb bridge that gave miraculous intonation, comfort and aesthetics, I'd wonder if the price should be argued with. When you put a bridge that looks like it belongs on one of those modern/retro Ibanezs (of which I'm a fan, but they're a completely different kettle of fish) on a guitar that needs simple 60s style designs, you're never going to get anywhere.

In short - it's fucking ugly.

They need to do some kind of demo video showing how the adjustments work. I can't wrap my head around how 4 intonation screws can adjust 6 saddles, even though it says that there is some sort of swivel screw? I would also like to see some specs that show measurements on how high off the bridge the saddles sit. I've got a guitar where the bridge is all the way against the body and any more height the action is too high.
Besides all that it's heinous looking, all angular and shit. Like a bunch of 1/4-20 nuts standing on end.

You could always put a bridge cover on it. Problem is you might have trouble affording one after the bridge purchase.
