I've been a big fan of the sansamp GT2 pedal which I've recently known behringer to be copying... in 2 different units.

Here is side by side demo of one of them just to show you how close they sound... not me btw.

*sorry, you tube quick link not working ?? :?

You could save yourself up to £100 on this thing compared to the sansamp...

Luckily I bought mine 2nd hand from hurb so not all is bad ;)

I thought this would be of some interest to you, I use mine on the california setting which gives an 'In Utero' type distortion even used in conjunction with single coils. Plenty of Gain to be had...

Hurb made an audio demo a little while ago. Not a big fan of the sansamp but it sounded like a pretty decent pedal if that's what you're into.

Yeh, I heard that... was a cool demo...

I use fuzz also ..to mix things up...

I'm just really suprised at the side by side comparision, rather than just this specific pedal...

do you think they'd all be pretty close sounding ?

Does sound very close indeed. I think they vary, the Dyna Comp vs. Behringer comparison I did showed the Behringer to be much more glassy.
