those are the stock tuners. it's a serviceman copy from the '60s.

What a strange phenom. And there's still such scant information online about them. That one looks pretty decent.

the blue is nice, but i'm afraid to think of what the reserve is. i thought these things usually sold for around $500. until that one last week.

It looks like the logo is drawn on with a marker pen...

I think that's the nicest/cleanest Serviceman Jaguar I've seen.

The neck is visibly not straight. I don't know why anyone bothers with these things. They are literally not real instruments.

First I've heard of these. Do they even play well? (the neck seems to disqualify this one)

some can be ok. they're pretty hit or miss. they were made by hand in sweatshops in the phillipines. there are no quality standards. buying one sight unseen on the net is risky. and they are nothing compared to the real thing.

I got one for chap, put a neck I had lying around and buckers and a TOM in it, and the thing screams. It's solid mahogany
But it was nearly unplayable when I got it. the necks can be terrible, as there's no truss rod, and crappy bar frets

No truss rod!? Is that even legal?

i had a sunburst one with a steel bar in it.
i sold it to dgner8, and then he sold it to malik.
i had a blue one with a matching stock that i sold to sub, i loved it when i had it, and he apparently loves it as well.
btw, the link says its invalid.
