I finished this finally after waiting a month for a 2134 opamp from small bear...its a "non-mojo" clay jones overdrive mod with the indyguitarist.com buffered bypass fix and orange led. The mod was as follows: Remove R5-R9, C2-C6, D4-D6, put a jumper wire in place of D5, replace R5=10k, R6=1k,R7=1k,R8=220ohm,R9=1k. C2=100n,C3=220n,C4=220n w/10k resistor soldered in parallel,C5=220n, leave C6 empty.
replace D4 and D6 with red 5mm leds and solder a 47p in parallel with D4. I stacked a opa2134 ontop of the stock opamp...or you can remove the opamp, solder in a socket and swap out opamps till your happy.
The tone made my coronado feedback horrible, and made the camera shut off too. we don't need to hear that shit so I just left it out.

Stock, this SD-1 when the drive was all the way up, sounded like it does now set at 7am.
I played around through my friends Les Paul and got some of the most 80's hair metal sounds by messing with the tone control...its nasty. Fran would love it.

This is not a ts8080 mod. It sounds nothing like a turdscreamer. its crunchier/thicker.

I know, i was only joking cause the SD-1 is originally based on the tubescreamer
Sounds great though nicer than my stock sd-1 which as you rightly point out is a bit weak on high gain

yeah, when i was still playing bass i loved the klotz funkmaster cables, reliable and made a difference in sound like taking a away the pillow between bass and your amp, i still use klotz as speaker cables but for guitar i just don't give a fuck, i want cheap and reliable cables , hotliiines !
also, this demo sounds NOTHING like a turdscreamer, any kind, personally i'm not very fond of it but i kept listening for the coronado feedbacks because i've a crush on that coronado.

It is a "hotlinez" cable. This Coronado has a great controllable feedback, but if you turn the treble up on a amp/pedal it will squeal like a micheal jackson fan.
Prog...you can do this mod, its easy. Just desoldering/re-soldering. I'm sure Mike would do it for you in the UK if you wanted. Or you can practice doing this stuff on someone's broken/damaged pedal first.

I thought I took pics of the whole thing, but I didn't...so...I'll take a pic soon and show it. I just spread the legs of the transistor and resistors to fit everywhere and twisted/soldered ends together, and made sure they wouldn't touch anything...but you could probably make a seperate little board for it and run wires to 3 spots?
