I'm pretty sure they sound like air blowing out of your ass but I like some of the pink finishes and the purple and blue pearloid. Reminds me of a dolphin mermaid.

Is Purple Tiger actually purple sparkle?

No, I think it's probably more of a translucent with that tiger wood look like on Gibsons or PRSes.

Majestic purple rain is probably closer.

"Raspberry Tiger" sounds like some sort of weird dessert.

I have a crestwood strat like that. I got it for something like $70 new on ebay. I don't know if I just got a good one or something but it is actually a surprisingly decent guitar. the attention to detail in the design of the guitar makes it pretty apparent that they weren't just trying to just bang out a quick strat copy but were actually attempting to make a decent guitar. the neck fits in the neck pocket VERY snug. the pickups are ceramic of course. if you like ceramic pickups at all these are pretty damn good. if you look at the picture above you can see how the poles on the pickups are actually spaced differently on each pickup to line up perfectly under the strings. also, the strap buttons are these big oversized things so your strap never falls off. I had no problems with fret buzz or sharp frets either. for the cheap ass price you get a very functional and fun guitar.

I like the pink starburst. Reminds me of one of those 70's blacklight posters.

The headstock is surprisingly decent for a sorta-Fender knockoff. Two string trees, too.

yea, I have one like this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Blue-Electric-Guita ... QQihZ022QQ

except I didn't get it with the shitty amp. and the shipping wasn't quite as ridiculous. you could prolly find one elsewhere on ebay for a better deal. tip: on these wholesaler auctions you never really need to do the BIN. you can easily win the auction on the minimum bid.

I got this guitar originally to use for parts but I just couldn't bear to take it apart. I know it's just a throwaway cheap guitar but every detail of the guitar is so purposefully designed, I just had to keep it together. maybe that seems lame but I really grew to liking it.

Not a half bad color, methinks.

Really though when I think of it, it seems like the strat shape is the only Fender style that color would look good on. I'd also dig it on a les paul or sg. I think it'd look silly on a full size semi-hollow though. Of course that's just my opinion.
