Acoustic Saddle replacement w/TUSQ

Did a quick before/after demo of this "upgrade" on my acoustic. I think its worth every cent. The guitar is twice as loud, sustain has been doubled, and has an overall balance to the tone now...too bad I didn't focus the video on showing more of this, but I'll probably do a better demo next time I change the strings. I paid $20 for the saddle and bridge pins to be shipped to my door. I only had to lightly sand the sides of the saddle to make it fit. This is a mod I highlty recommend. Its like dropping a better pickup in an electric.

You can definitely tell the difference, there's a lot more brightness and resonance...
That accent sounds fake tho...

Hahaha, I love the disclaimer! I'm an acoustic noob but can definitely tell the difference and prefer the "after". Not that the "before" was particularly dull sounding, but the new bridge definitely brings more clarity to it.

That acoustic is Marvellous.

Change definately made a bit of difference, worth it I'd say.

Impressive.

One of the last things you'd imagine to have such an effect on tone, but there you go. And yes, the guitar is absolutely beautiful.

I love that disclaimer so much.

I think it sounds way better. Almost like a higher quality guitar. Very cool demo.

that's a nice-sounding guitar, before and after. with the tusq, the strings seem to have more resonance.

It really sounds so much better now I can't believe it. I didn't really appreciate how much better until I played it the next day, thats when I really noticed it. It was like playing a different guitar.
