67 coronado body on ebay, if i can get it for a reasonable amount it'd make a nice project... one that would take about 7 years to finish, unfortunately, as i'd want original pickups, neck and tailpiece for the rest of it. could be in for a long wait given how rarely they come up for sale. this finishes at 9.30pm tonight, can i stay sober til then? do i even have to?

Dew it! It's not that hard to find parts if you string it out a few months. Use any 25 neck. It's a sweet guitar. How often do you see that in Luton?

You could probably use any neck that fits the pocket and just move the bridge.I don't see any holes for bridge .
That is a nice looking body.

they had unfixed bridges and the tailpieces attach at the butt, and various different versions of tailpiece were made.
i'm not bothered about it taking a while to complete, i'm quite patient when it comes to waiting for parts. but anyway, it could shoot up in price, there might be nerds other than me sitting looking at guitar parts on ebay on christmas eve. i'll bid a reasonable amount, but i won't get drawn into a spangle-war!

yeah, considering all the other bits i'd have to get i kind of balked at paying £200+ for it. there's a nice coronado II on ebay.com
here at a decent price but because of that framus i bought i'm pretty scuppered for new purchases at the moment (unless i sell something).

I saw that. Then thought:
1) would take forever/cost a fortune to find original parts
2) coronados, although fantastic looking, don't sound that great
