I made an (admittedly uglier) version of it. In retrospect I should have moved the controls up like the one you posted, though I suppose my build could still benefit from a pickguard, and perhaps a refinish.

It was my first project though.

I'm not crzzzzy about it, but it's ok.

Makes it all the more maddening that Fender keeps releasing shitty strats when they have this design in the wings.

I have been thinking about starting a guitar project for a while, if i could get hold of a blank body in that jaguar/jazzmaster shape I would totally try and create something that looked like that. Although with a strat neck I think - prefer the headstock.

Throw a Jazzmaster pickup in the neck position like on Aeon's and I'd hit it.

BTW Aeon, that thing is awesome.

If someone here made it, I would tell you it was gorgeous. For Fender, they are doing retreads. But it IS gorgeous.

It's quite well executed. I'm somwhere between "I am going to buy one of these" and "It looks alright".
