have you guys ever checked out specimen of chicago? they are my favorite shop.

What's going on with the sides of the tele? Is it plastic? Rubber?

It's vinyl tape like on the old Danelectros.

i have been thinking about moving to chicago, abstractly ive been planning on classing there if i ever get to chi. seems like a neat place.

for some reasons i get emails from specimen for guitar workshops and stuff.
some of them sound incredibly retarded like
"spend a weekend with the pros learning to re-string properly"
a whole weekend of re-stringing guitars, woo.

i've been taking my stuff here for a while, and they kick major ass. they do awesome custom work do make cool gizmo's like this.
