Doing it wrong (mustang wiring)

Today i tried wiring up a whole mustang assembly- new switches and pickups, a BG strat sized p90 in the neck and a red lace sensor in the bridge. But it doesn't work. I followed the duncan diagram to the letter, had a check on the photo walkthrough in the wiki, and it still is fucked. Basically getting no noise at all from the pickups. I even wired the switches straight to a jack to no avail. Halp shortscale! Pictures under spoilers. Red wire in the pictures is the earth, blue is hot. have i missed something stoopid? Never wired a mustang before, only strats and teles.

i don't notice anything, but your skills with the wire do seem rather good.
make sure to check that the switches work.
that was one of the main problems i had with a guitar about 6 months ago.
the pot had some soldier inside of it so it would never contact properly, once i replaced that it was all gravy.

Hard to help as we can't see whether your wires from the pickups are ok. Check that your pickup hots and grounds are the right way round and all the wiring to the switch grounds is good. Check continuity of all the grounds with a multimeter and check no points that aren't ground are grounded.
This is a simple system and you should be able to debug it.

That's the diagram i used Mike, and it seems wired correctly. The switches are brand new and i assume they work, is there an easy way to check? I have a multimeter, but need my hand held on how to use it.
Thanks fellas.

Maybe I can't see it in the pictures, but did you ground the switches?
It's the wire that runs from the ground on the back of the volume pot and connects to the sides of both switches.

Thanks ronvonbon! I had missed the earth of the switch on the bridge switch. I get a satisfying chunk when hitting it with a screwdriver in all positions. Just need to drill new holes for the mounting screws and i'm in bidness. Thanks again.
