Month ago I replace originall jaguar bridge on mustang br
Now I have problem - screws on new bridge, after playng, they drive in inside
and strings goes down+(
Can you help me with advice?

Here's what I did: Turn the screws out as far as possible and rub them against a candle, i.E. put cold wax into the rills. Then turn them back in. This kept my bridge adjustable but stopped the unwanted play of the screws.

Otherwise, just wait for them to rust...

Do you mean the blue, red or green part?

Doing what kypdurron said could help. You can get to the screws using a small allen key (hex key in American English) or by lifting the bridge out (loosen or remove the strings first) and getting to them as they are in those pictures.

If you know the height you want them to be at, a little bit of candle wax could help hold them in place. Don't coat the whole screw. you'll just end up with a mess. Set the screw to the correct height and then drip a little candle wax around the base of the bridge to hold the screw in place. You could also try a commerical fixing agent like 'lock-tite' or whatever they are called.

Or you could try what kypdurron and use dry wax rather than melted. I've not tried either as I've never had the problem with mine.

Long time just reading all of this, now decide to join.

Common problem. I found out the hard way during a gig, all my tuning went flat due to the bridge getting lower.. i ended up packing the bridge with a card beer mat

Wax should solve it. Basically its a loose thread so you need to stop the vibration. Lypsol, vaseline, nail varnish and even more ridiculous- Loctite glue have all been used by players.

i must be the only person that has never had this problem and hell i have gone thru at least 4 stang bridges(two j.s. 1 mustang, 1 allparts replacement)
and 2 jaguar bridges(1 avri, and 1 jap)

...I've never had this problem.

Or buzz.

I've had more problems with buzz on TOMs with the retaining wire.

I've never had a TOM that didn't buzz. I hate those things.

I've never had a problem with any of the 4 stag/jag bridges I have.

Ok bridge screws is ok now, at least I think so

But when tremolo slider switch in correct position, like on 5th picutre - tremolo arm....mmm...got too short floating(is it correct?). Is it normal? Or I do something wrong?

actaully I start to setup tremolo because after using tremolo my G string is out of tunnning

The problem is likely the nut if only one string is the problem. And it's usually the G string...

Do you mean you can't get enough tension for the tremlock button to work? What sort of Jag do you have? What string gauge are you using?

I try to do like on link - lock and ulock tremlock button should not affect on tuning
I got CIJ jaguar, ernie ball regular slinky (0.10) with custom gauge(?)
