That Musicmaster should be routed already, its routed the same way as a Mustang/Duosonic.
I would love to get a Musicmaster, especially this one.

not necessarily. it says it's made in 1972, and the duo-sonic had been discontinued long before then. later 70s musicmasters definitely weren't routed for 2 pickups, so they may have stopped doing it by this point. but i'm not 100% sure, obviously.

the decal would point to a later 60's/70's
the color seems wrong for 70's the slab body is a good point.
and the tuners.
didn't they do away with plastic heads in 70, or 71,
or am i just making shit up?

It could be a 72 neck on a 60s body. I thought it was going to be a 66 or so when I first saw the pics based on the looks.

Even very late MMs don't have contours... Isn't that right?
IMO, it's all factory, great deal.

yeah, i don't think musicmasters ever had contours. as far as plastic button tuners go, my 72 mustang still has them. but i don't think those knobs are original.

scratch that about the tuners.
i guess they were used well into the mid 70's
