they have had one at my shop now for about 6 months or so.
its amazing. it just has that shortscale "feel" the second you put your hand around the neck. not exactly like a mustang or jag, but more like the supersonic. ill bet anyone money that he gave ibanez a supersonic neck to copy for it because its perfect.
for someone who grew up learning on a jagstang back in the mid 90's and now has grown to play guitars of all shapes and sizes, this guitar just feels right in my hands. like an old baseball mit or whatever you want to make it out to be. its a very relaxing feeling for me to go into any random guitar shop and pickup the one 24" scale guitar they have in thier inventory and say to my self "ahhh this is it, this is what i grew up with"
the omar guitar gave me that feeling immediatly and when ever i go in the shop i take it off the wall and walk around with it until hilary makes me put it back

If it does that for you, buy it! Imo that kind of instant bond with a guitar comes rarely, especially a model you dont know. I got a similar feeling when i picked the Cort Strat up, and still do.robroe wrote:they have had one at my shop now for about 6 months or so.
