The back where they join looks like the Jagmaster body aug filled the trem cavity on for Shad. Still, I was expecting worse (i.e. a 2x4 with big wood nails in it on the back of the body covering the join or something).

I built this with the intention of doing a show stopping encore number with my band, ala the Vaughn bros, but that never happened.

You think he means he never got 2 dudes to play it at once, or that he did and it just wasn't "show stopping"?

That'd be an awesome PLANNED move, though. Start off like the Vaughn bros and then play to the guitar ego thing, like, "oh, play like THAT, will you? Tug of War, fuckface!"
Then a solo battle on the broken-apart guitars.
