Allright, so last week my amp broke....AGAIN.

I'm pretty annoyed by this, so when I get my new one from Crate/ my old one repaired I'm gonna trade it in + some cash for either one of these 5 amps

Traynor YCV40 (representin canada, yo')
Peavey Classic 30
Peavey Delta blues (2 speaker one)
Fender Hot Rod Deluxe
Fender Hot Rod Deville

ofcourse I'm not just gonna take the opinion of someone from the internetz, and buy the amp without playing with it. but I just wanna get some opinions on durability of these amps...from the videos on youtube they all sound awesome, but I guess that'll be different in person. also most of the demos I've seen of these amps LP's or Strats are used. I play a Mustang (S/S) and a Jagmaster (HH) with my big muff & double muff, would these amps take the pedals well?

So yeah just lemme know your opinions on these amps and i'd appreciate it

As far as I'm aware, the Delta Blues only comes as a 115. It's the same amp as the Classic, but with a tremolo and a fifteen inch speaker.

I use the classic 30 and have been pretty satisfied with it.

The first one had to be taken back as the channel select button wasn't engaging... apparently a dodgy batch. Was kinda happy though as I could get the black vinyl covered amp instead of the tweed.

I think it really comes to life when its cranked and seems to be a good all rounder to me. Quite bouncy but responsive at the same time. The tone settings I wouldn't say were hugely effective, so its just a very direct clean sound. It has a nice gritty 2nd channel with a little chime thrown in too.

The Classic 30 is a great amp. I've been pining after a Delta Blues ever since playing the Classic 30. The fifteen inch speaker appeals to me, because I'd like to tap it and be able to use it as a cab too, so that I could put one of my other amps into ot if I wanted to.

DELTA BLUES.

I think they come in 1x15 and 2x10 version.

I have a hot rod deville and I'm pleased with it. They're great amps if you can get them fairly cheap. I love the 2x12s. Especially for the price you can get them in the states.

With this being said, When I buy a super reverb(or bandmaster or super six), Ill still probably keep my deville in an a/b/y setup, becuase I really like the clean sounds from it.

The peavey stuff is pretty solid as far as i can tell.

Peavey is the definition of reliable. I don't even think you can fully appreciate it until you take one apart, but they're built so damn solid it's legendary. I know people who have been gigging a Classic weekly for 10+ years with no issues.
My guitar teacher's 20yo Peavey was completely submerged in water once - he took it apart to let everything dry and the next day it worked fine.

I can vouch for the peavey's reliability.
I have a classic 50 from the 90's and it's been gigged hard, it's still solid as fuck :p

I'd go for the Traynor. I used to have one and it was awesome.

I've played thru a Fender Deville before I didn't really like it, so I would go Twin Reverb!

I would go for the Classic 30.
Their tone is just phenomenal and the build quality, by any modern standard, is absolutely top shelf

I can't vouch for any of the post-Pete Traynor Traynor products but if the new ones are anything like the old sixties and seventies, in terms of sound and build, you CANNOT go wrong. These things will EAT YOU IN THE FACE.

im suddenly interested in peavey's, after reading this thread.

actually i thought i wanted all peavey stuff when i was in grade school, because weezer was my favorite band and i saw the big peavey amp in the liner notes of the blue album.

im really pretty happy with my hot rod deluxe, but i got a deal at 350USD in mint condition (the old timer hadn't even taken the plastic off the pedal, and he "always kept it covered when he wasn't using it")

i don't think id pay new price, but if you can find a deal its a good amp. seems to have a lot of lows and alot of highs. good range and volume.

looks like you are looking at all good stuff. i dont think you are gonna go wrong.

If by Fender you only mean the Hot Rods, I think the correct answer is Traynor.
