Prices are gonna get high on them. I saw a MIJ jaguar in guitar center for $900 because it had a mute on it. The MIM ones are ACE.

depends on when i can my W-2s in order, and when i can get the tele body sold, etc. right now, i'm trying to keep it in the 450-600 range if at all possible, since i'll be likely tossing it on a credit card via pay or something. if i get my tax refund sooner though, i might just use it to buy a new one...

yeah, I bought 2 2 weeks ago. It needs a setup, but it is a MIJ that is LPB blue with matching headstock and mint guard. The action is high because the guy I bought it from used it for slide. But it just needs a setup. No case or anything, but if you are interested check out the thread in short scale that is titled QUICK. I bought it for 589 shipped and then walked into GC and picked up a MIM (right after xmas) on a doorbuster 1 days sale for 459. Neither had case or trem arm, but since I got sucha good deal on the mim, I am willing to deal to someone I know (especially if it is local and I don;t haev to ship.) 500 USD. Check the listing. It has a couple bumps and bruises but nothing affecting playability. I know the matching headstock go for a little more, etc and I could probably put it back up on ebay or on classifieds here for what I got into it, but 500 and it is yours..

The only problem being I am going to have to get rid of it soon. The earthquake Thursday night pulled my water heater from the wall of my garage and I have a repair guy on the way out here now. I may have to replace the whole thing, as well as repair some drywall damage/water leak. Not too bad on the drywall/water leak, but if they have to replace the water heater, that will get expensive quick. Fortunately I can do the drywall/wall repair myself.

how soon is soon to be getting rid of it? i'm really fucking tempted, but i'd totally need to get my tax refundage first i think...cuz like i said, otherwise i have to finance it the american way: a credit card! i wish i even had a spare like 400 i could give you now, and then give you the other 100 in a couple weeks...most i could do safely would be 250 now, 250 two weeks from now...DAMN that's a hot deal, yo!

check out the pics on it from online as I want to make sure you know it is beat up a little..

That said, I might be able to help you out on the price as far as doing the part now, part in 2 weeks. As long as the 2 weeks was in 2 weeks.

If you want, give me a call... I lost my cell phone, but am at home right now so I will PM my home number.

yeah, i love how it looks...i didn't see anything in the pictures that made me go "HOLY FUCK THAT THING LOOKS LIKE SHIT, FUCK MICKIE FOR TRYING TO SELL THAT PIECE OF SHIT TO ME." but it just may not be the right time, timing wise is all. and you could totally toss that up on the bay and get your money back or more...fuck man...if this was a month from now, i'd be buying it right now as we speak.

hmmm...must think about this, ballpark figures, etc...

Not a big deal either way, but I could probably do 300 now and 200 in two weeks. I just need to come up with a couple hundred to make sure I am OK for gas/food after I pay this repair bill today. The downside of having a 95 mile roundtrip to work and back....FFS. I tried to PM, but about half the time I do PM's, they end up stuck in the outbox forever.
