Our latest is done and ready for download! Fresh out of finals we recorded on the weekend after, wrote and recorded some extra bits while mixing, designing, printing and cutting some sleeves for the CD during the week, and had it ready for the show that Friday. We took off for Portland 2 days after. Here is the product of that busy week! <3 <3

HAHA I have a real hard copy, and a REAL swing hailey set list from our super epic show our bands played together in my basement

I started to realize that rochelle sounds a lot like carrie brownstein. I hear some sleater-kinneyesq guitar line in there too

I'm loving it, really fantastic work. People need to be checking this out a lot

Drunken Makeout Party
This is a complete spankfest of the energy I'm used to expecting from Swing Hailey, from Radio Friendly Unit Shifter-esque chorused feedback intro through breakneck drums to yelpy hyped up vocals. A breathless way to kick off the EP, fantastic stuff.

Inside Your Head
My favourite song of the EP, and one which displays all the strengths of the band, I love the vocals, Roach's vocals is superb and the high harmony touches are lovely, it's great when Sub (I think) starts singing too. Fantastic stuff. The drums hold everything together with restrained urgency, and Fredo's guitarwork is all Santiago warped melodic genius. A Tour De Force.

Judgement
I knew I'd love this song as soon as I heard what it's about. It's superb. The best song ever written about a film. "Come With Me If You Want To Live!", segued with the poppy "Have you seen this boy?" hooky chorus line is just quality writing in my opinion. Brilliant stuff. Great bass and guitar work on this. Mario must be knackered also. Cracking tune.

Rapid Viz
Mellow goodness. Roach's voice again sounds lovely, and the lyrics are sublime. Quality bit of post chorus groove riffing. Transform your Madness into Glory... Indeed.

Swing Hailey are Brilliant. Download this. Listen to it.

Thanks Mike! Yea, its just Rochelle and me for Inside your Head. My first entrance into quasi serious singing. That song is also pure tele sounds coming from ol' fiesta red. Mario belts out some vocals on Drunken Makeout Party too. Glad you enjoyed it!

I think you have a great voice, I thought I recognised it (and Mario on DMP), I think you all have brilliant voices to be honest. It's all about character.

I'm not going to teach you how to read aswell.

If you can't handle MegaUpload you really shouldn't be using a computer.
