Damn that's a lot of gear for one year.

Right now for me it's

Peavey Classic 30
A cool bass of some sort, probably either the new squier cv 50's or 60's p-bass. Or maybe I'll save my pennies and try to find a used 4003 for a good price later on in the year.
Bass pod or similar to record said bass.
Guitar multi-fx, possibly an ME-50, just for dicking around when I can't be arsed to hook up my pedals.
Some percussion, maybe a good set of bongos, a snare drum, tambourine, etc.

I also am having my old Ibanez Blazer redone once I get the bridge pickup in the mail, so that'll feel like a new guitar. I also need my Ovation rewired since it has some grounding issues.

Analog Synthesizer.
That New Danelectro Baritone in Cobalt Blue, if it's any good.

After that, whatever comes my way. I don't really lust for anything to immediate.

Is this the Hornet?
Also why go for Sonic Blue/Tort, I feel it's an over used scheme, but I'm not judging here.

IT WILL BE THE GREATEST GUITAR EVER.

but seriously, it will be decently made, cheap, and unassailably cool. Their other recent reissues have been great build-wise, much better then the late 90s reissues. The sound wasn't quite there, but I think going back to the wood bridge will solve that.

Stopped making want lists since guitars and amps always pop up out of the blue and put off the list until the next year.

I want my mustang to get here faster. That is all.

what do I want? well, I have plenty of guitars currently, I just bought a p-bass and this sweet behringer DI (w/ speaker emu). eventually I would like to get a cheap parlor size acoustic and a cheap violin would be cool too. other than that, I'm pretty content at the moment.

That really is truly the case. The only guitars I have now that were "planned" were my Danelectro 12 string and my Windsong acoustic. Mainly because I simply wanted a 12 string guitar, and I wanted an acoustic guitar. The Ovation, Gibson LP Studio, Ibanez Blazer, and even the Hagstrom Viking II were all random purchases that just came about seeing the guitar hanging on the wall in a shop. Other instruments that I did plan didn't work out so well......the burgundy mist strat with gold sensors and piezo, the dark green tele with Squier Japan bullet neck, the white/tort MIM fretless Jazz Bass, The 6 String Danelectro Baritone, All those were premeditated but I think I didn't like them because the anticipation of owning/playing them was more interesting than the end result. On the other hand I had an equal number of impulse buys that I flipped in a month's time. I guess it's all part of learning what I like and don't like. Apparently I don't like fenders as much as I like looking at them. I never would have guessed I'd ever fall for a les paul of all things, but it suits me perfectly.

That having been said I know I love rickenbacker basses, so I might be the least disappointed if I just take the plunge, even though I'd feel stupid for buying such a nice bass and not being a bassist, in the scheme of things it's not like it'd go down in value, and better to get something I'd be happy with than another fender/squier that I know I'd hate once the newness wore off.

Lots of wants, but what with this summer being the first time I'll have a proper (not call centre) job, and given the shittiness of everything money-wise, I reckon I'll buy nothing and save a few months wages just in case. It's annoying. I've been looking forward to graduating and suddenly having money to buy gear with for about three years. I'll not be able to.

Apart form that, Zaphod's guitar and some P-rails.

i've got my eye on a hagstrom super swede

Other than that, a cv tele and a low wattage tube amp. There's a couple blackheart models that look pretty cool right now. A TT would be nice though too :p
