Korg DS-10 Demo

This is a quick, quick demo. It's one file, and you'll have to download it I'm afraid. Everything in this was done with a DS going straight in to one track in Kristal Audio Engine. There was only a bit of cutting done to patch everything together. Unfortunately, for some reason I am unable to monitor whilst recording, so whilst recording all of this, I had to do it without knowing what it would sound like.
The first minute or so is a fairly standard type thing, although it probblay could be a lot neater, particularly the bass part, which is a bit farty sounding. This has been recorded in stereo, with panning done within the DS. from thirty seconds to the end of this, I've gone through each voice putting it on solo, again with teh mixer within the program. The second part is nice and messy, and involves me fucking about with the synth settings whilst they are playing. Remember, this was all done 'blind' so at the time I had no idea what this would sound like. I then mess about with the effects (flanger, delay and chorus) and then reduce the number of steps in the tracker form 16 to 1. I also reduce the tempo from 120bpm to 10bpm. The purpose of this was to show how well it deals with long, stretched out impulses. Unfortunately, this didn't work as well as I would have like, as there is one sound that isn't particularly interesting and that dominates the whole lot. Ah well.
