Thanks for putting that up. I can't seem to do it. If I was half as coordinated as that guy. It would be lifetime accomplishment.

I'm surprised he can shred like that on a shitty guitar. I'd be afraid to seriously slice up my hands on the frets. Props to him on all accounts.

So are these guitars aimed at 'ironic' female rock guitarists, or are Squier/Fender genuinely trying to break into the under 10 girls' market?

I'd love to have a go at a Hello Kitty with Wilkinson brass barrel retrofit and a AlNiCo V 9k Kent Armstrong S-905, as I've eye'd them at the Willows shop a few times and have had more than a few Kitty thoughts...Fixed bridge, hot single coil screamer, at least you'd have rockin' tone.

I've seen this guy before, he tests the Biyang pedals. He's good!

It aint about the guitar - it's all about the player. Once you give it a decent setup, all guitars are going to feel and sound similar with that amount of distortion!

God forbid, but I actually sort of agree with Aphasiac for once, but not about the distortion. I remember listening to a few "demos" of Burns guitars a while back, one of them by Johnny Hiland or something. His playing was pretty good, but it gave me zero idea of what the guitar really sounded like because of the flurry of notes. Not a single one was allowed to sustain for more than a millisecond, and it pissed me the fuck off, considering the only other way to figure out the killers sounds of a Burns Steer would be to listen to some Billy Bragg records.

That sort of playing gives you little idea of a particular guitar is going to sound at all.
