You know that essentially EHX = Sovtek, yes? (apologies if that's old news)

Because they're the most popular and commonly owned design of electric guitar of all time. Those sorts of traits provide good reference points when developing niche consumer audio products.

You're also just seeing what happened to be in the testing room when the video folks showed up (in fact, that was the same day a lot of folks & gear were leaving for the NAMM show in California).

Those Sovtek's made me gleam a huge smile. Loves me some Mig 100.
Great video, I'm glad Electro harmonix is around.

Scott, love your hair man.
Are the Sovtek amps still being distributed? Are they still JCM800 clones?

I beat Fibus by 7 minutes to post this story. That said, I did post it in the diary thread because I was too lazy to create a new thread.

Absolutely. The tidy designer isn't designing, he is being derivative.
This is what I tell my workmates and wife. My desk is a fucking sty.

So I guess EHX will be releasing a Deluxe memory man in the recent smaller chassis?
Any differences to the DMM that is being sold currently besides the size?

It is DMM XO http://www.thomann.de/gr/electro_harmon ... ry_man.htm
its already out, not much buzz around it, supposedly its out in Europe for now.
Also it is supposed to be the same, but people who heard it say its not as good as the original, but that could be false.

People will always says that.
I'll be saying my Graphic Fuzz or DMM are better than the XOs if I ever some to sell them Doesn't mean I believe it.

I dont know if the little big muff was supposed to be the same with the normal one but I heard them next to each other and they were different, not a lot, but still.
