Is it just the angle or is that a 12AX7 sprouting from the control plate?

Looks like a Top twenty style guitar, they went under different names and were made for high street stores in the late 60's/70's. I had a similar model, it was a plank. Impossible to intonate, unadjustable truss rod, high action, thin ply body and useless machine heads. The pickups are salvagable, Robert Smith of The Cure fitted one on his Fender Jazzmaster. I recently sold my pickups to some Cure fanatics via Myspace.

Personally, i think its firewood Tom.

speaking of which fran, i'm going to part that one of mine out on ebay to see if i can get back more than the £20 i paid for it. one of the pickups is the one i got from you (that i never got round to fitting), d'you want it back? or, i could stick it on ebay and send any money it makes back to you.

No mate. I'd try and find a pic of Robert Smiths Jazzy (Shad has got one im sure) and sell it on ebay with 'The Cure interest'

actually, i might hang onto the pickups and chuck them in an old squier or something. could be fun. the rest of the guitar can get tae fuck, it's utter shite. might get some beer money for it though.
