Incase anyone here is interested in joining this challenge or finding some independent artists, go to
www.fawm.org and sign up and start posting those songs you've been wanting to write. The site is full of alot of regular "folk music" fans, but they are friendly. I have found some pretty awesome solo works and bands there too that are not "white man blues or folk", its worth streaming all the songs. Basically its a songwriting challenge to challenge yourself to write/record 14 song demos in 28 days of February.
My screen name is "Pitt" incase you want to spy on me while I cheat on shortscale.

I have MP3 demos. Does FAWM host them?
No, not the files themselves. To post your demos to the FAWM site they must first be hosted elsewhere. But there are several ways to get your demo heard on FAWM. Check out the demo hosting page for more information.

Just copy the video's URL link and paste it in place and the youtube video will be posted. Unless you did an audio recording too. Trust me, I want these people to experience real world music like this. They need to be shocked.
You should sign up baby kitty. That cat will be famous in no time flat.
