That sounds like the first pedal I ever owned, the Ibanez SLAMPUNK.

Aesthetic. I think it's supposed to look liek a T-Bird wing.

ah right... i'd rather be able to see my settings onstage without having to show the drummer my arse crack. still, didn't stop me buying the OD, i'll just have to suck it and see.

Cheers bud.
The knobs are a bit of a pain but they are pretty much set and love pedals, and also they're protected from stompage.

Ace demo Mike - had been really looking forward to that one (note to self; get a fucking life). I reckon it cleans up pretty well considering what a full on fuzz it is. Looking forward to the TOD demo, too. And glad you don't just have the fuzz at maximum all the time anymore.

haha.. I never noticed, did I always dime the fuzz on other demos? This one sounds way more useable than some others do across their range, it has LOADS of gain, and as a result I know what you mean about the clean up, it does shed the gain, even if you do get a bit of that nasty artifact.

how hard would it be to get a generic metal enclosure and graft everything into it? i havent looked inside of one yet, but it seems like itd be worth it, as in the end youd have a peachfuzz clone for around 70 bucks, that you could then spray ugly stencils on and act like it was TEH CUSTOM.

I think you'd have to take a long look at yourself and realise you were a complete poser to rehouse a pedal based upon aesthetics. To add true bypass, better jacks, LED? By all means. The Cool Cat has all that. Rehousing something that noone but you looks at (and really if you're looking at your pedals when you're playing live you're doing it wrong) completely bedfuddles believe.

You are a vainer fool even than me, and I claim my five pounds. It's in a metal box with true bypass already, you numpty. You're as bad as old 'arthritic' Stew up there.

as opposed to having a peachfuzz clone for 40 bucks.
i'm missing your logic.
