vintage fender truss rods.

i know that after searching the web for a few hours i could find this info, but i suck at the internet so i figured i would ask the more knowledgable group here.
most of the newer double truss rods are around 14-16 inches depending.
now upon looking at my duo, and the strats of the time it seems impossible to be able to fit the same rod in either neck(22.5 vs. 25.5)
so, does anyone know for sure if fender had 2, or maybe even 3 different sizes.
