i'm liking mine more and more to just add some girt and girth to me clean sound.
can't get on with that concentric pot though, if i turn one the other comes with it and i have to use two hands.

The trick is (and it does say this in the instructions Zaphod, my old love) is to turn both at once to set the bass, ten tweak the treble accordingly. Need to tweak the bass? Remember the position of the treble turn both at once, then reset treble. Easy, even with my big sausage fingers.

pfft, instructions. box, bubble wrap, power, cables and off we go.
unless of couse i want "Country 'Tude" or "Woman Tone" (both from the actual manual).
hahaha actual quote from the woman tone setting: "roll off your guitars tone control and follow your soul".
country 'tude: "add three chords and the truth. goes well with fried chicken"

Good demo as ever Mike. Sounds pretty meaty.
How do you reckon it compares to the Fab OD?

Cheers mate. I'd say it's a lot better and more versatile - bags of different sounds due to the two EQ controls.

Fair play - it did sound pretty versatile in terms of EQ.

DO AN BLUES!
It's a great demo - I love when you fuck up and go "Heh HOOO!"; you sound kinda like a grown up Furby.

These pedals seem awesome.
I tried running my nobels overdrive in the FX loop a while back and it was amazin!
Mega-awesome for just a lead boost because it just boosts the volume before the power section and doesn't really add preamp distortion, which was PERFECT. I could keep the gain down and just bump up the level and sound twice as loud (or more) at the touch of a lil switch. Worked great.

I finally got to play mine through my Univox amp tonight. Oh my fucking god. I finally dialed in the tone controls so I get this amazing Kinks/garageRAWK sound, and sorted the order so it sounds lovely with my Rat. As nice as it is it still can't replace that, but this thing is IMMENSE.

The fact that the Treble/Bass feed into the gain stage make it a very interesting OD to work with, myself especially enjoying the "mo' bass + gain" settings as Mike does with "Monkey" in the demo. It's also interesting to stick at the end of one's signal chain, just to add MORE plus some EQ'd gain.

i would say so, it's got alot of volume.
i find unity to be at about 8/9 o clock so it's definately useable as a booster.

Cool, thanks....Maybe when I get the money my old job owes me, I'll go and pick one up, with the Dano 7 band eq.
I'm also looking into a dano chorus, but I assume the 14.99$ one isn't very good?
I don't mind settling for a small clone, as i will be using it for mostly [flameshield] kurdtz-ish things (solos, and experimental intros mostly, and maybe when I play clean stuff in my other band sometimes) [/flameshield]
but if you have any experience with the dano chorus pedals, would you suggest me to try them out, or should I just stick with a small clone?

if you mean the milkshake chorus mike's got a demo of that:

small clone demo too:

i assume you don't mean the cool cat 'cause that'd be more expensive, but if you do they've all been winners so far and i don't see any reason why the chorus would be any different.
