Hello All, Well the time has come for me to build myself my dream guitar, a Fender Jaguar, in my opinion the most sexy guitar to ever roll of the Fender line! I had the neck and body custom made for me and here are the specs!

Body: Alder with a modern routing

Neck: CBS headstock, Rosewood, Clay dots, truss adjustment on the side of the neck (will explain how that works later, it's out of the way and pretty cool), compound radius, modern tuner holes

Pickguard: Made for strat size pickups I will be winding my own pickups for this, they will be single coil size mini humbuckers

Paint: NITRO!!!! Ocean turquoise metallic with comp. stripe and nitro clear coats

I got a Mustang bridge for it and the barrels in the bridge have their own height adjustment on them for total set up control!

the aged finish under the stripe is a nice touch, looking really clean so far.

Hey wow thanks so much guys! I was going to do a matching headstock, but when I saw the ocean turquise, to rosewood, to maple head, it was just to sexy for me to mess with. Here i'll show ya what I mean:

It's funny being 27 years old a lot of my fellow musicians are like "Whay the F do you wanna build a Jaguar?" they just don't get it, I take comfort here haha

its ok to say fuck, we are all adults here.
i used to have an avri(04) ocean turq jaguar, it was my main thing until i sold it to pay vet bills.

indeed but i just bought another one with a matching stock, im going to set it up the way my avri was.
looks like you and i have the same taste in guitars, and i salute you in your attempt to wind your own pickups, we have a few members that have tried that before.

Very cool project, OTM is a great colour choice.

Yeah I love the AVRI's but for me the radius was a bit too extreme for me, I play a ton of lead and love as flat of a board as I can get pretty much, thats why I went for the compound radius on this jag, it's worth the extra money IMO plus it's sweet to have the standard jag radius at the first 4 frets then slowly go to flat by the 12th. I love it. Yeah it does seem we have the same taste. Seeing your pics makes me wish I went with a flame maple neck, but flame dosent really seem to show much without a clear coat, see i'm one of those nerds that hates to have any kind of finish on the back of my neck, I just oil them and call it good, I love that feel. But I do finish my headstocks, it would look cool there but when I orderd the neck I was thinking I was gunna go matching headstock. The neck I really wanted was a Jag neck with pearl block inlays and binding ala 1966 but Warmoth does not offer block inlays on short scale necks (turds). But I was forced to stick with them so I could have side neck truss adjustment and compound radius, puls it's always good to get your neck where you got your body to insure perfect fit. But warmoth tells me they may offer block on the short scale soon so I may have this neck up for sale when they do.

That looks hot. I love OTM anyway, and the aged stripe fits better than bright white would I think. Good work.
