I've played some lovely ones. Do the trade if it's a good one.

Hogwash! I've got one and I love it to bits and honestly felt that it blew a USA std that my mate had out of the water.

Wrong. Sorry. I wrote a decade's worth of songs on one, and recorded my finest work with one. They feel good, sound good, look good.

Is the RG a 330 korean model?
Its a tough call, similar value and quality but the Tele is more primitive offering much less but has more mojo cred looks (round here anyway). If you dont use the Ibanez ans have gas for a Tele (and it plays well i take it?) it seems fair i think.

DEW IT... I have a pair of GFS Fatboys in my shitty Saga Tele... they're fantastic pickups.

I've never played a MIM standard Tele, but I've played several Strats. They were all great guitars. The MIM Standard basses I've played, on the other hand, have all been rather underwhelming.
