Don't understand people wanting 7 string guitars for "the heavy stuff".

ill agree with this. what you really lack here is the high notes for the tweedlie twoos, but fuck the tweedlie twoos.

when did KoRn ever do tweedlie twoos anyway?

its funny, every korn (and the like) song could pretty much be played just as easily/sound just as good on any full scale humbucker guitar in a low tuning. why they need "wizard" necks, 7 strings, max. fret access, and floyd rose tremolos is beyond me.

there probably are exceptions, but ive never heard them. all i ever hear is "chugga chugga chugga chugga CHOO, chugga choo"
