Give us some pictures and links to any literature you're using to build it.
First thing to check is all your transistors are orientated correctly, switch wired ok etc.
Give Us (a lot) More Detail.

so this is my 2nd pedal and its been giving me some trouble.. i put in a transitor in backwards... and it was a bitch to fix... i populated everything and after wireing it up i got some fuzz but the LED wouldnt light up... so i checked all the connections redid it and now the led goes on but the pedal doesnt make noize when active..
a problem ive been having is that the wires will break periodiclly where they are soldered to something.... maybe im clipping them too small.. heres some old pics... i'lll try to get some more soon
here u can see it where the trans got screwed up top right

That wiring is a mess. You probably have a break in that overheated labyrinth of filth.
Start again. Get some solid core. Take your time and make your wires as long as they need to be (measure them before you cut them), not too long, not too short..
I worry about the integrity of the transistor joints up the top there after all that reheating. You should be using desoldering braid to remove solder when removing components.

Transistors are cheap, buy some spares from SmallBear.

Hahaha when I messed up I got like five back ups...
Futurelec has like 200 transistors for 2 bucks....

Holy cold solder joints batman.
Redo every solder connection on that board so it's shiny and cone-shaped.

There's a lot of excess solder spit that could also be causing connections you don't want to be there.
You mucky pup.

Kinda sloppy. Basically, you've just got too much solder on the board. Also, the excess leads need to be clipped shorter.
The solder doesn't look shiny in places - what kind of iron are you using? I wonder if maybe yr iron just isn't getting hot enough.

I didn't finish cutting the leads.... I just got a new tip today cause my old one wuz wearing out.... I'll see how that changes things...
