i've been trawling gfs for months trying to settle on what pup to put in the jazzblaster since i'm not a fan of the SD in the bridge.

euans strat has some WR looking pups but i don't think they're GFS. someone had a jazzmaster deluxe type thing with 'em in.

you might email them, ask them about magnet structure, etc. i emailed them to ask them if their tele bodies were vintage spec, and they emailed right back (it is.)
its interesting that he says they are faithful reproductions, but then never talks about the actual product, just how it KERRANGs and that it sounds "vintage" and what not. he usually at least talks about the magnet types.
id say that as long as it has alnico polepieces, do it. but if it is some ceramic barmagnet typical humbucker type architecture, its not worth it. more like that guy that was trying to scam SSers and Offsetters a few months ago.
hoping for CuNtLiFe magnets might be a bit much, i really doubt he's gone that far for that price.

I've got a set in a Strat. I got them from Axesrus.
Guitarfetish suggest they get them wound to their own spec. Mine are marked G&B Pickup Co who make the pickups for the Korean PRS guitars. They are certainly brihgt and spanky.

Both sublimedo and I have had them. Mine seemed a little muddy, but later figured out they were not wired correctly. They sounded great after that was fixed (I put a pair into a jagmaster...)
I think Sublimedo has one in a jazz type guitar if memory serves me correctly.

they definitely didnt have a bar magnet, but i guess what you are saying is that the magnet could be hidden by the baseplate, on the GFS one.
