and they are almost the exact size of a TT(im just guessing by pictures) but have a slant.

YOu don't want to make a mini stack based on an old fender solid state amp. They are not that good.
You also might be thinging of the reverb units. They look like an old fender head, but in reality are just a tube reverb unit. They will not power a speaker cabinet, they are an effect.

Perhaps you saw that and the depth of the head made you lose perspective of the scale?

You're not thinking of the "jazzmaster" head are you? It was a tiny, solid-state head, kind of like that titchy Crate thing?

no it was a bassman head that was tiny.
I dont know why this is sticking out of my head so much but...
I'll keep looking.

Alternatively, chop a champ.

If worst comes to worst (I wont be able to find it wise). Then i'll try the solid state (i've been playing a transtube peavey anything kind of is a step up from that). If i dont like the SS Bassman then ill chop a champ and what not.
But you gotta remember that there were a few different variants of the Bassman during the 60's-70's so my search isn't entirely impossible.

my guess is that it was a one off custom made one, not a production model. I am always looking at differnet bassmans (and have owned a couple), but heve never seen or heard of this.
