After searching with little luck I'm going to have the mini bassman built for me by a few guys i know.
all i need is:
The measurements of the actual head.
and the measurements of a blackstar head or orange tiny terror.
I want to make it about 30 watts but the scematic is for 50 that i found. Halp.

google tells me the ht-5 head is:
185(h) x 440(w) x 230(d) mm

So wait - are you just building yr own amp and putting it in the mini-bassman chassis?

Shouldn't it be possible to build a 25W Bassman with just a single 6L6?

A single 6L6 would do about 10-12 watts depending on the B+ voltage.
If you don't care about clean headroom with a band, I'd do 2 EL84s at 15-18W a-la the TT. EL84s are small, so you'd easily be able to fit them in that chassis with enough room to breathe.
15W with a 2x10 cab would be awesome and give you plenty of volume for most stuff.

Btw I got the schematic from an AA165 Bassman. Which probably explains the wrong wattage and what im trying to get.

10W should be plenty for that type of project I think. I like that idea. I believe my amp is a Bassman 50 clone and I love it. A lower watt version would be awesome to has.
Or better yet, a low watt Twin clone.
I want to build an amp so badly. I have too many projects to spend money on right now anyway.

If you havent built an amp before, Id do something simple like a champ or a princenton circuit. A great book is the tube amp book, or whatever its called. It pretty much explains how to build a princenton(I think) step by step.

Kind of a stretch but...
1. Two Inputs... 1 bass 1 guitar input.
2. everything else bassman style.
3. cabinet shown above.
4. If i cant get a measurement for the cabinet. then i'll do a 1x10.
5.(EDIT) A three way switch (up=bright middle=normal down= deep)

You could use the preamp section from a BM, but the power section including the phase inverter would have to be completely reconfigured. If you do 1 output tube, you have to adjust the power section for class A.

I've built pedals before, a smallish tube amp ought to be pretty similar.
I could probably take a Twin preamp stage, chop off the reverb portion and such, and tack on the Princeton output stage. That would be neat.

I don't really understand what you're saying you want.
You want the head to be physically smaller and 30w. What else is different?
