Has anyone played one? Sorta intriguing.

How can you not like something called "cooltron"?

I mostly just like things that glow at me.

There are dented and scratched ones selling for a little cheaper on musician's friend.

not worth it IMO.
the single tube that's there is just for the looks.
if you're after the looks - it's definitely cool :P

My old band mate had the Cooltron tremolo, it had some good features, but gave audible 'clunk' to the signal when it was switched on, which is pretty shocking for a pedal that costs over £100...
