i ordered 2 packs at my local store today.

im interested to see how they sound and feel.

do you guys have any experience with them?

apparently, its the feel of round-wounds without the fretboard destructive qualities of them.

I have been looking for all flat wound strings. do they even make such things or am i crazy? i have flat wounds on my bass and would like to have them on my guitar too. or at least try it

theyre called CHROMES or something.

chromes are awesome, although, kind of expensive, but they last so long...

they sound amazing on hollowbodies/feel amazing all the time
i find the older they get, the better they get... until they get too old and start to smell, then you should change them.

I use flats on everything - the flat/thumpy tone isn't to everyone's taste but I love the feel, longevity, and no finger noise.

i bought d'addario half rounds for bass once, hated it, but never tried half rounds on guitar
