PRS guitars are not usually my thing... but I came across this, which I think I like!

"PRS Starla Vintage Cherry with Bigsby "

It looks like they are trying to get in the retro style market, look at that pickguard.

24.5" scale!

Think I'm with you on this one, not keen on the Strat switch there though, looks out of place.

the name makes me think of a waitress working in a las vegas roadside diner.

not a fan of the headstock but the body looks ok.

i played it in high school it was a bandmate's guitar. liked it.

Yeah, headstock would need to go. Also, I noticed it has weird contours round the edge, 'beveled edges'? Dont know the terminology. But THEY WOULD HAVE TO GO,

it's so typically prs to make those edges look like it's more fancy than regular edges, as if it makes a difference playing haha not

id rather a les paul than any PRS singlecut. but i think id rather an sg than either.

dblcut prs's are kind of nice, but the late 90s alt rock craze kind of ruined them.

that pickguard looks really wrong, imo. like theres not enough body around the bass side at the neck pocket. looks truncated in some way.

plus, yeah, a bevel on a singlecut body? lame.

if i could get a prs, itd absolutely be a soapbar II.

the Gretsch Corvette is a thing of beauty, but there's something about PRS guitars that leave me cold. guitars for people who don't like guitars (if James Blunt was a guitar he'd be a PRS [bland]), and on a different note I can't think of any decent music made with one

but i heard there great guitars.

on the prs though i'm kind of mixed.

Reminds me of this:

Gibson Marauders are very nice looking.

i half toyed with buying a marauder once, as they can be had quite cheaply. my friend has the bass version, a G3 or something.

very fender-esque construction.

not so much the guitar, mainly the views on brian may. i don't think there's much love for him on the forum.
