They feel soooo... Plastic - but otherwise I would love that white one with the split PUPS.

When Italia stopped making th really cool p-bass with 4 sideways lipsticks, I lost interest.

I want them to make a fucking Mondial II XII string, I would buy that in a snap. Instead I'll just have to buy a rickenbacker like everyone else.

I would definitely rock a modena standard if I could swap the neck out because I can't see myself liking the pearloid crap they put all over the backside of them. Those are 25.5 inch, right?

the fhole is weird. if they did it for tone, might as well shaped it different. no reason it has to be an f.

Those are all fairly old models from Italia. In fact, one or two of them have been redesigned since.

The sitar guitar is sort of vintage correct with all that crackle paint and shit, I think.

i love the way slotted head stocks look. the F hole one looks good, but i dont like the reversed headstock.

Two of those guitars look not bad. The rest are shit.

Italias certainly look pretty awesome. I've tried out the green sparkly one- it's pretty heavier than it looks. The aesthetics of these babies are pretty awesome, and this bass (which I'm selling) is pretty awesome, just not enough to cut through the Swing Hailey sound.

ive always thought, if theyd just put the sympathetic strings on the other side, they wouldnt have to put that big weird plastic shield on there.

I'm actually buying a Dano U2/U1 soon to convert to a sitar for the 60's throwback band I'm in. I figure it's the cheapest way around it, ($175 for a dano, $80 for the sitar bridge, $10 for a tailpiece). I really do like the look of that italia though, I just wish they came in vintage incorrect solid finishes and weren't $630 (though I'm sure worth every penny if you can justify it)

i was thinking behind the bridge, or you could move the strings farther up the lower bout and the knobs would stay in the normal position, roughly.

i think id rather a jerry jones used than a new italia, for the price.
