painting and refinishing a guitar. places??????

hey I have a strat that im looking to get repainted and i have no idea where to take it. any suggestion on what type of place i should take it??? i was thinking maybe an auto place

Auto places will paint it for you for cheap, I've heard of several people doing that with great results for minimal cash.
With some sand paper, nitro spray from an auto supply store, and some patience you could do it yourself pretty cheap if so inclined.

Why do you want to repaint it? What are the details on it? Pics? Do you have any space or time to do that sort of thing yourself?

haha i just feel ambitious and i've had the idea of re doing a guitar of mine for quite a bit of time anyway i'll check some auto places i've also got a hold of a guy who has been doing it for quite some time that will teach me some things as well so im banking on that idea

as for pics i dont have any at the moment what i would be painting is just an alder strat body that i have kicking around
