oh i forgot to mention the story behind my purchase:

Turns out that Orange isnt selling well in my town (quite the shithole of a musicians town. Line 6 modeling amps are all the rage). So the only local independent guitar store that isnt a big-chain store like Guitar Center, within a 50 mile radius, no longer sells Orange, so they had a blowout sale for all the new Orange amps they ordered but couldnt sell. I got this pup mint for only...... $570. (440 Euros i suppose?)

And from what the dealer told me, you actually can remove the little Toaster from the inside. The handle is gone though, and theres no sexy Orange carrying case to come with it....

The combo has handles on the side. I think he means if you take the TT head out of the cab its the same but without the handle on top.

my comment wasnt in response to anything.

handles on the side > puny awkward handle on top, for sure, btw. maybe not on an amp that small, but i often wish my HRD had side handles.

thats genius.

i never thought to put a pre-existing amp inside a cab, but i guess it makes more sense than trying to put a totally new circuit in and designing a new cab and everything around it.

looks ace, great buy.

what's smart is orange probably had this design in mind all along. i'm not sure i'd say it's genius, but not a bad idea at all.

$470 is a decent price, considering how expensive the tt head is by itself.

Whats wrong with line 6?

Just kidding. Your right, tampa is full of line 6s and MGs. But I shouldn't be surprised, we do put out awesome bands like We the Kings and The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus on a consistant basis. But I shouldn't be talking, my tube amp broke down and im using the line 6 until it gets fixed....
