Thanks to Mike for being kind enough to post the schems, layout, wiring guide etc.

Now where do I get my official Shortscale.org stickers to adorn the outside?

Nice!

I've been cloned and I love it. I believe dots still has a bunch of stickers, I'm afraid I'm all out.

I'd definitely recommend it as a beginner build.

Useful as hell, too.

I suppose I could print my own sticker if worst comes to worst.

Think I might attempt a Rat next.

I've bought a few cases recently. I think I picked this one up in Maplin

You can buy enclosures in most places where you pick up components...

for example here, here or here

I'm thinking about building a saltbooster as well. Could I possibly get the information and specs on it? Thanks

what type of resistors did you use? Carbon film, Carbon composite, or or metal film? Also what capacitors did you guys use? a poly film or a orange drop?

That's what I used anyway...

Mike guards the secret of the original 'mojo' parts :)

sorry for so many questions but this will be my first scratch build pedal. As for the PCB, would this work? I was planning on making two fo these so I should be able to cut this down for two different PCB's. Correct?

I think that's just perfboard...

For me, Your best bet would be to get some stripboard (link) and cut it into 2 if necessary

I would go for stripboard, for resistors use metal film, I use Tantalum caps but you can use film or poly or ceramic caps.

Use solid core wire for the hookup.
