I think my go-to would be a Russian BMP. I've modded mine in abunch of random ways and it sounds great.

I really like the Fuzz Face with the guitar volume rolled back - not really fuzz, but an amazing OD tone.

I'd have to say it's a tie between the Fuzz Factory and the Skreddy Mayo for me.

The one Mike built for me. It's the only fuzz pedal I've been 100% happy with.

I'm really glad I grabbed one before the financial crisis fucked over the NZ dollar.
No way I can afford any more vintage pedals now, aha.

I also love my FZ-2, it was the first pedal I ever bought.

My red LED mod NYC Muff has always been my number one but I'm really beginning to dig dialing in the Wolf Computer in non-crazy ways to get my fuzz on, these days.

Following the original Superfuzz there was a very similar sounding fuzz circuit floating around (used in the Ibanez Standard Fuzz, but was also sold under heaps of other brands), that circuit was then the basis for a whole bunch of fuzzes, a variation of which is used in the FZ-2... I'll see if I can dig up the exact quote I was looking at earlier.

The Bee Baa has some nasty sonic similarities, but doesn't have an octave effect. The precursors to the bee baa were the Acetone fuzzmasters, the FM-1 and FM-2, the Acetone guy went on to found Roland, which then begat Boss.

mine's a tie between my made by mike shaftsbury duo-fuzz/superfuzz or my made by mike tonebender. both excellent pedals, turn them on together and your face melts like the german dude's on indiana jones!!!

Fuzz Face!

I have a fuzz factory, which is nice and works for me, but I've yet to find my favorite. I realllllly like what my NYC Big Muff does, but I tend to use it more as an overdrive.

I kind of fell in love with Aen's Eau Claire Thunder, which I completely plan to get once I get my debt settled.

Yeah, Aen's pedal sounded absolutely fearsome in Robert's demo.

I rearranged my pedals and somehow got my SHIVA in the perfect spot in the chain. before it hummed and squealed in a bad way like crazy, but no more. It's the most brutal thing ever. My old IC big muff is amazing as well. I have the big muff in front of the shiva. If I have the big muff on and step on the shiva it just gets a little bit more fuzzy, and more sustain, but a SHIT TON more low end. It's perfect. Tag team fuzz combo. So I guess my favorite fuzz in the combo of both

I like the danelectro french toast, sadly not made anymore. Cool sound, plugged bass into it and it was great. Cool octave thing as well. Great poor man solution to foxx tone machine.
