Now let me just strip.. ungh... Strip all your fucking neckplate screws with this shitty utility knife screwdriver... There you go... I'd ensure that for about 2500, now.

dude, that was a fucking swiss army, and it appeared that he used the flat head/can opener bit to boot... what a goober.
i also wasn't aware you could get anything other than a b on a jazzmaster... hrm. bad ass guitar tho. i would say a 62+ strat would be worth like $15k, but could be the sobriety talking.

I find it hard to take advice from anybody who claims expertise on something that has screws in and that does not have access to a decent phillips screwdriver.

He seemed to be talking balls a bit, going on about the fact that he knew it was after '58 because Fender didn't offer rosewood on their guitars before that. They also didn't fucking build fucking Jazzmasters before that. Tosser.
Are these worth watching? Does he say that he can tell the Esquire was made after 1909 because that's when Leo Fender was born, and Leo Fender didn't put black guards on his guitars before he was born?

yea, I saw that too. of course he's gonna seem like a no nothing to us. this is aimed at the general public not guitar nerds like us. the way he said it actually wasn't incorrect. he said something like, 'fender introduced the rosewood fretboard in '58.' silly to mention because jazzmasters have only ever had rosewood fretboards? yes. incorrect statement? no, not really though.
these guys have appraising knowledge on a super wide range of things, not just guitars. if dude says something in a kind of off way, I'll forgive him. You could probably pick apart anything I say similarly.
