i was looking at my ROMO BRONCO today, and then i looked over at my unused bass neck.
then i thought: "hey! I've got an unused bass neck, and i like the look of my bronco. I SHOULD MAKE A BASS TO MATCH MY GUITAR."
so here's my idea, and im leaving it up to the board to decide yes or no.
bronco guitar sized body
single-coil pickup
bronco guitar pickguard
comp black.
so basically this:

but in bass form, and with white robroe.
what do you think?

Is a guitar body long enough to get the bridge right? I see that they have it all the way at the bottom. Is it a regular guitar body with a long neck? Sounds like a cool idea.
Romo sounds better than Moronco, but Little is also a great name for a guitar.

Will the Bronco neck fit in a standard guitar neck pocket? I remember mine having a super long heel.

dgnr8 and astro, thats what i was thinking:
make a bronco guitar sized body, but with the neck pocket and such different, so as to accompany a 34" scale and bass neck. ill ask robert(original) the next time i go what we must do to accomplish this.
any ideas for the color scheme? i personally would like to stay with the comp. black, but if anybody can provide evidence to the contrary, i'd be happy to oblige.

anybody with a bronco/stang bass that would be willing to do a tracing for me?
plus, do you guys think that the 34" neck will look odd with the short-scale body?

Even if it doesn't look weird... it'd probably have some serious neck dive.
But my guess is that it would probably look a bit odd.

My stang bass already has neck dive, actually. Word of caution, I guess.

Didn't Rodvonbon have a Gold with White compstripe? I thought that was pretty boss. But I think Haze has a cool idea.
