Ok thanks to mike for sharing his saltbooster design. I built a saltbooster to boost my Orange Rocker 30. It was a tight fit but I got everything to fit inside this little case. It sounds great too. Now that I have one pedal under my belt I am thinking about building a hendrix fuzz face clone. I call my booster the salty orange juice boost since I will be giving my rocker 30 a little more juice with it.

nothing special that matches it up to the orange. Just a regular boost built to saltboost specs.

i never had a boost pedal but for certain effects it does wonders if you wanna use it with a mic, now it just stays on my board all the time for mic as wel as guitar use.

The LED is freaking bright. If you look down directly at it it will damn near blind you. I will post pics of it on my pedal board tonight.

Yeah quite a few mate. I recommend the Mike Fuller mod's version (he used to make it as his '69 Pedal). I can sort you out with a Veroboard layout if you want?
This was Benecol's for his birthday (I think he's 43 or something). It has AC128 PNP Germanium transistors and is battery power as it is positive ground. I also wired it so you can power it off a standard Boss DC power supply (but not daisy chain it with other regular-ground pedals).

the blue leds on behringer pedals do that too lol you have to cover the led with your finger if you wanna twist some knobs and actually know what you're doing.

A small square of masking tape will tone down the brightness/blindness a bit. Might look a bit shit though.
Also, put a small sprig of parsley in your shoes and enjoy its spicy scent all day long.
