So this afternoon I finally got round to making myself a small practice/home pedalboard - I've been meaning to do this for a long time.
Just stuck a couple of pieces of wood together:
With a couple of battons nailed to the bottom:
Add a piece of '70s carpet found under the stairs:
Retrieve the Maplin box bought for this about 6 months ago:
Combine with some pedals:
Will add cables later:
Simple, but I'm pleased with how it came out

Very cool, and I LOVE the Shagpile. I need to get my shit together and buy a Workmate and a PillarDrill for pedals. When I have a new shed to work in I definitely will.

Workmate is one of the first things I bought when we got our house and I started the neverending DIY!

Haha - no idea Fran - I found it under the stairs, has probably been there for 30 years!
I'm going to secure things with ties when I get round to it - the shagpile has to stay but it's not great at sticking to velcro.

One of the things I have somehow accumulated is a spare Workmate; if you're ever up this way again, it's yours.

It's things like these that make me wish I enjoyed using pedals.
Excellent job!
